Kelton Labradors was created in 1993 by Jim & Denise Klemme.  We are located in Suisun City, CA., adjacent to GRIZZLY ISLAND WILDLIFE AREA. The name of our kennel is derived from the motto of the Scottish Kelton Clan  "Sto Pro veritate" ( “Stand For Truth.")  

We produce top quality labs for the show ring, field and as family companions.  Our puppies are reared in our living room and are cared for around the clock.  They are raised as part of our family and are readily accepted by their feline household companions. Our dogs exhibit the proper lab temperament, energetic, fun-loving, and obedient companion dogs.  All puppies are sold on a limited Registration.

Our clan are AKC registered, OFA Certified and eyes are CERF annually. We are active members of the Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Club.  

Labradors come in three colors.  Black, chocolate, and yellow.  We specialize in black and yellow .  If you are interested in chocolates please email and we will refer you to a breeder.

We were introduced to breeding and showing Labradors by Art and Beth Davis of Sailin Labradors, Colorado.  We thank them for all of their help and support.
